How to Write a One-page CV That Shows What Problem You Solve

The goal is not to include everything. The goal is to make the reader understand your role fit, evidence, and next contribution quickly.

Start with a talent headline

Replace generic summaries with a clear role promise: what kind of problems you solve, for which environment, and with which evidence.

Show proof, not duties

Responsibilities are easy to ignore. Evidence is harder to dismiss. Use outcomes, project scope, tools, stakeholder context, and concrete examples.

Cut what does not support the target

A one-page CV should be tailored. Remove old details that do not support the target role, and make the strongest proof visible in the first half of the page.
